Q-Park published its Annual CSR Report 2024 today.
Our Annual CSR Report shows our strategy, focus areas, ambitions and results regarding financial and operational matters and also our commitment to the environmental impacts of our business.
We report on our financial performance and on the progress we have made in our focus areas:
Urban Liveability
The carbon footprint per operated parking space is much lower compared to 2023.
In 2024, we calculated the average kgCO2 per parking space to be 14.2 (2023: 44.4), a reduction of 68%. This is thanks to the efforts we've made to sourcing an average of 74% (2023: 26%) renewable electricity for our parking facilities and EV charging points.
Since we started measuring our emissions in 2010, we have achieved a 92% reduction in our carbon footprint per parking space.
Sustainable Mobility Solutions
In 2024 we made some significant additions to our portfolio. Our sustainable mobility solutions help transform search traffic into destination traffic. We now have:
In 2024 we facilitated 77.7 million zero-emission kilometres (2023: 48.6), a 60% increase.
With our Sustainable Mobility Partnership Programme, we support urban mobility plans with an increasing number of mobility hubs and access to public transport and micromobility services. Our portfolio now includes:
Seamless Parking Services
With our proprietary Parking as a Smart Service (PaSS) platform, we digitise parking services to create a seamless and efficient experience for customers and mobility partners. No more tickets, no more going to the payment machine. We now have 786 parking facilities where PaSS is enabled.
This means that season ticket holders, parking payment app and Q-Park App users, and customers with a pre-booking can access and exit our parking facilities based on their number plate (APNR).
